About Me
Hi my name is Tammy, I am a registered Childminder (Ofsted rating Outstanding) and qualified Nursery Nurse. I have 3 grown up children who have have now flown the nest so I can offer flexible and dedicated childcare. I love my job and am passionate about providing children with every opportunity to thrive in all areas of development. I always aim to work closely with parents to support the individual needs of your child. I live in a lovely 3 bedroom semi with a dedicated room for the children and a generous south facing garden. I am a creative and resourceful person and provide children with lots of interesting and stimulating activities, in doors and out. In my setting children can have fun, learn and reach their full potential in a safe, secure, warm, caring, and stimulating environment. Children in my care will also enjoy many outings including, farms, parks, playgroups and more. I drop off and pick up from Sacred Heart and Brougham Primary schools.
My Experience
I have 20 years experience working with children, I have worked with all primary age groups but most of my experience is in school nursery's, reception class. I have also ran after school, breakfast and cookery clubs while I worked in local schools. I have experience of working with children with Special Needs and English as an additional language. Over the years I have completed many courses and I continue my profession development regularly, keeping up to date legislation, training and new ideas.
