My Experience

I currently have 7 years experience of working with children aged 0-5 In a variety of different settings such as private nurseries, local authority nurseries, Playgroup’s, crèches and also voluntary work. In my current position as a Nursery Practitioner I work closely with children aged 0-5 years to provide a caring and nurturing environment where the children are able to learn and develop. I am part of a team who provide a safe and stimulating service for young children, It is my responsibility to care for the children and help them to enhance their skills through play, this also helps to develop their social, emotional and cognitive skills. I have gained valuable experience and knowledge throughout my role and have also gained a wide understanding on all procedures, policies and legislations. I am very keen to progress with this and I am confident that by enhancing my knowledge through further education I can take my level of success and knowledge and put it to use in new and future environments.

I am a fully qualified Nursery Practitioner with a SVQ3 in Social services, children & young people
