Cared for a baby boy (five months old at start time)
Fed the baby, wean him to solids, changed nappies, and helped him learn to walk
Played with the child and took him on walks/ parks/ clubs/ to the playground/library/museums/ swimming pool
Helped the child develop his vocabulary and build his self-confidence
Read storybooks/ "play and learn" with flashcards
Arranged playdates, read stories etc.
I have done, occasionally proxy-parenting while parents were away.
Mar 2013 – April 2016: After-school Nanny

Cared for two girls, three, and five years old at the time
Met the children at school and took them home
Carried out daily activities to meet the children’s physical and emotional needs
Prepared and served meals and snacks to the children
Bathed and dressed the children/ put them to bed
Prepared the children’s uniforms/game’s kits and everything they needed for the following morning
Helped the children with homework and other scholar/ non-scholar projects

Sofia has been a fantastic nanny for our two young girls for several years. She is warm, reliable, fun, cheeful, energetic, friendly, flexible and week in week out went way beyond her job description to make life as easy as possible for us. The girls love Sofia and she has been an invaluable part of our family. I recommend her unreservedly.
Overall
I have known Sofia for 2 years. I met Sofia as she has been the nanny to my next door neighbour’s child for the past few years.
Sofia has looked after my daughter on many occasions, babysitting during the day (playing in the park, museum visits, swimming etc) as well as in the evenings. In September 2015 Sofia looked after my daughter (then 6 years old) for 5 days, taking her school, living in our house and taking care of her every need. My husband and I felt happy that our daughter was in such safe hands.
Sofia puts the children in her care above all else. She is great at communicating with children as well as adults and is disarming with her genuine enthusiasm for life.
I highly recommend Sofia in her work with children, she is one of the most caring people I have had the pleasure to come across and I cannot recommend her more highly. Sofia is an asset to any family.
