Hello
My name is Claire and I am a registered childminder in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
I have worked for Social Services and adoption and fostering before deciding to step into a child care setting.
I live with my husband who is an AA patrolman and our children.
We have a lovely, well mannered Miniature Shnauzer named Stanley and our British Shorthair cat named Dottie.
I am now a Hygge Accredited setting.
My Experience
As well as being a Mum myself I have worked in a primary school in Reception, Year 1 and 2 as a volunteer and as an assistant for a child with special needs.
Prior to becoming a childminder I worked as a Childminding assistant and I have enjoyed gaining the knowledge and experience I believe it vital for this role.
