Fully qualified and CIW registered (tax free childcare) self-employed Nanny with 10 years experience. I offer ad hoc days/ sessions for families in the Cardiffand close surrounding areas. (Sessions are from a minimum of 3 hours.) I DO NOT charge per individual child only hourly.
My name is Charlotte, I live in Cardiff, St Fagans. I have 10 years of experience in the childcare sector. I currently work as a nanny on an ad hoc basis for a number of local families. I run a little business called Charlotte's Childcare and Dogcare. (I offer dog walking and dog sitting alongside my childcare work.)
I have worked 1:1 with SEN children. I have lots of experience with babies and Newborns. I have also worked in a Sensatori nursery in Ibiza. I have three sisters and three nephews, so I always have lots of first-hand experience as well as my qualified experience.
In my spare time I strength train at the gym and do lots of heavy lifting. I also enjoy walking and swimming. I spend a lot of time with my family, too.
I am a non-smoker.

My Availability
I currently work for a number of local families on an ad hoc basis. I run my sessions from a minimum of 3 hours to how ever long a family requires.
My sessions with children involve outings, age appropriate activities, craft making, sensory activities, and more.
I am flexible working early mornings, evenings, overnight, and weekends. I can do school pickup and drop off if included in the time frame. I have my own car and carseats.
I am happy to help out with light household duties and cook for the children. Give me a message if you think I could help you out with regular childcare or on an ad hoc basis.

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
Nanny day: £13- £18 per hour, subject to travel.*
Babysitting: I offer a cheaper rate between the hours of 7pm-11pm: £11.50
Midnight-5am: double hourly rate. Any other time is considered Nannying, and the usual hourly rate applies.
Travel Nanny: £60 flat rate overnight then hourly rate when with children. Flight time and my "time off" whilst travelling to be paid for at an hourly rate.*
Overnight: £60 flat rate between 11pm and 5am if I'm sleeping. Hourly rate when with children or awake. Double rate between Midnight-5am if awake.
Stand by work: (e.g Mum going into labour, child sickness) hourly rate negotiable, but to be paid the whole time standby is required.*
Weddings or events: £18-22 per hour. *
Cancellation fees or deposits may apply!*

We met Charlotte over the summer when our childcare broke down and she was able to fill in as nanny for us. She has since done some babysitting for us. She is always on time, makes sure the kids are well fed and also gets them to bed on time. The kids always like the activities Charlotte does with them. She is very reliable and pleasant to the children. Thanks for all your help Charlotte 😁
