About Me
I am a married mum of twin Sons, and a lively westie called Archie, and am used to a busy daily routine and all it brings.
We live in Dryburgh, Dundee, and are very close to schools, Nurseries, and NInewells Hospital.
I would describe myself as a welcoming, friendly person with a great sense of fun and imagination , honest and reliable.
My Experience
I was a Local Council Registered Childminder for 17 years before and after having and caring for my own children, Twin boys, now in their 20's and absolutely loved my role, then returned to work for a short time while my son's attended college.
I have been lucky enough to have met and cared for families through recommendations from Nursery, Schools and even in The local Supermarket.
I have worked with children of various age groups and personalities, some for many years, all of them have given me great delight at their progress while in my care.
I enjoy working closely with the children's parents and families, as this allows a great support system around the child, and by offering flexibility can be an essential and familiar extension to their family unit.
My Qualifications
I have various childcare qualifications including:
Child protection
Working with children with special needs
First aid/ Infection control and hygene
Working with young children involving music/ storytelling/ drama and science fun.
also various relevant courses to my general practice.

Previously registered for many years with Dundee Council,
I am now happy to provide my Childcare Service in your families own home giving you and yours a flexible and reliable support from breakfast and safely on to nursery and school, with an option of light household help before collecting the children and seeing what the rest of the day brings.
Oh and not forgetting helping with your fur babies routine too.
Encouraging honest and open meetings, discussions and recommended visits to provide exactly what is required for your families needs.
Although I have listed my availability, I could be flexible should your routine require it.
