About Me
Hi! My name is Rosie and I’m a qualified school teacher. I love all types of animals, and live with a dog and 4 cats! I live 5 minutes from the beach, so I take my dog whenever I’m free. I enjoy spending lots of time with my close friends and family, and I absolutely love working as a tutor, helping children of all ages to learn in a way that suits them.
I offer tuition both in person and online via zoom. I also offer group classes throughout the summer, as well as one off booster sessions on a particular subject area.
I provide in person tuition from my own home in Cleadon Park or I can come to your home, if it’s within 1.5 miles of my own. Alternatively, I offer online lessons to students in the UK and internationally. I cover Early Years, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and adult learners.
My Experience
I have looked after family members, and family friends children from a young age. I have also done extensive voluntary work with children, from working as a teaching assistant, to working at a children's camp. In June 2019 I completed my training to be a qualified primary teacher, working with children of a variety of ages and phases in school. Since completing my PGCE in 2019, I have worked as a supply teacher and tutor in schools across the North East, covering Nursery through to year 11. I have also worked 1-1 with pupils both in school and privately at home to help increase their attainment. I specialise in Phonics and Maths, from primary all the way through to GCSE Maths! I have extensive experience of teaching children with SEND, including ADHD, ASD, and other complex learning difficulties. I have also worked with a number of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including students with school refusal, and students with EOTAS.
My Qualifications
Bsc in Psychology in Education, PGCE in Early Years and Primary Education
My Availability
I have a limited number of weekly tuition slots available, for either online or face to face. My availability does change all the time, so if a time slot you require isn’t available, feel free to drop me a message and I’ll see where I can fit you in!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
£25 for a 30 minute 1-1 session, and from £40 an hour for a 1-1 session, please enquire for group session prices.

Rosie, is an amazing teacher. She has tutored our son for over 2 years and he really enjoys his lessons in his English and maths. Rosie is gentle, kind and always willing to help. I highly recommend her!
