CheekyChops Childminding offers flexible and affordable childminding services for all ages. Whether full-time, part-time, before school, after school, term-time or in the holidays there is something for everyone at CheekyChops. I champion the needs of each individual child in my care and believe I can provide solid nurturing in a learning and caring family-based setting. I aim for your child/children to be very happy and develop well in a safe and personalised environment - giving you peace of mind.
My name is Lisa, I live in Coppull, Chorley and care for children aged 6 months, to 10 years old. My husband Mark is also registered as my assistant and assists me from time to time. We have been married for 32 years and have 3 children aged 30, 29 and 22 (which none live at home) Our home is well located and non-smoking with a safe, enclosed garden for outside play and 2 dedicated childcare rooms which all aim to sustain a welcoming and homely learning environment. At CheekyChops, children will be able to come into contact with our pets under supervision.
Why am I Different?
Unlike nurseries, CheekyChops Childminding is perfectly placed to provide flexibility and activities which interest the small group in my care. As a result, I can follow the developmental requirements of each individual child by observing their interests more personally. This was recognised in my latest Ofsted inspection, where I was graded "Outstanding" in all areas.
I believe that every child at every age matters and always aim to meet the needs of each individual in my care. I also believe in 'Parents as Partners', so that a strong relationship with Parents/Carers also benefits the child. This is achieved through different means, including a Daily Learning Journey for each child, email contact and text updates.
I always aim to provide a quality, caring environment where standards are high, independence can be developed and where there are a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible, to help children to achieve their goals and promote their self-esteem. But chiefly, children learn best when they are happy, so fun and learning through play is priority one at CheekyChops!

I am an Ofsted Outstanding early years provider, with 30 years experience of caring for children.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, trained in: Paediatric First Aid, Introduction to Safeguarding Children (Level 1), Level 2 in Safeguarding for Nominated Officer Training, Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering and Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
Graded OUTSTANDING by Ofsted on last two inspections.
I am also a member of NCMA Children Come First Duke Street Childminding Network, which promotes high quality childcare, holding regular meetings and training.I am a fully accredited provider of the free Early Years Entitlement for 2 and 3 to 4 year olds.
My Availability
Please contact me regarding availability.
Generally, I am available Monday to Thursday on a flexible start and finish time basis, to suit your needs. Friday has a flexible start time, but I can only provide care until 17:30.
I can accomodate both full and part time children.
I also offer a before and after school care service, whereby I take children to school and collect after.
Temporary Holiday care is also available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Fees are fully inclusive of breakfast, lunch, dinner and all snacks and drinks.
from £40 per day or £5.00 per hour.
Term time workers accepted and reduction given for all school holidays for term-time workers.
I am a fully accredited provider of the free Early Years Entitlement for 2 and 3 to 4 year olds.

CheekyChops is the place where my daughter is so happy , everyweek she enjoys going. Great communication, very caring and reliable. Great childminder. Always happy and smiling.
Great listener and takes great photos and shares them with with yourself which I love , as I can see how my daughter is getting on each day she goes.

Our son has been attending Cheeky Chops for 6 months and absolutely loves it. It's a warm and caring environment; He's always excited about going and enjoys telling us all about the things he's done with his day (trips out, dressing up, baking, crafts etc). He particularly enjoyed bringing home and looking after a dog teddy for a few days, including taking photographs of his adventures with the loaned children's camera and keeping a diary.
There are really good learning resources and the engagement and support we've had in helping guide our sons learning (e.g. helping with shapes) has been fantastic.
It's the little touches that make things really special, such as making a big effort on birthdays and themed days / activities (Christmas, Easter etc). We really value the daily journal and snapshots that keeps us informed and involved.

My daughter Tabitha has been going to Cheekychops since she was 5 months old, she is now nearly 2. I absolutely love the care my daughter receives from Lisa and her family, Tabitha never wants to leave when I pick her up in the evening. I am always confident that Tabitha is safe and well cared for and I really enjoy reading what she has been up to in her daily communication diary.
I feel like Lisa is a real life 'Mary Poppins' and can't recommend her highly enough. She is a rare find and worth her weight in gold.

My two children , Ethan and Jayna aged 7 and 11 have been going to Cheeky chops since the beginning of 2014 and thoroughly enjoy it, and adore Lisa and her family. I'd been and looked at numerous other childminders for care during the school holidays but none of them came close to cheeky chops. Lisa and her family are very warm, friendly and inviting people and instantly on our first visit both me and my children felt relaxed in the environment and knew that was where they would go. They always look forward to going and I always feel 100% happy with leaving them there as I know they're in great hands and will have a fab time!
The little extras that Lisa does are great too, such as the snap shots of the kids playing, drawing or baking throughout the day, and their birthdays are never forgotten either, even when they're not attending!
I asked Jayna why she likes going to cheeky chops and she said - "because it is fun and Lisa cares about us" .
Overall Lisa is a fabulous childminder, in a loving, and stimulating, family environment!

My 2 daughter had been attending since September 2015, I cannot speak highly enough of Lisa. Evie loves her and has settled in great. She learns something new every week and can't wait to go in a morning. Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure I know exactly how Evie's day has been, from what she's eaten and what she's done for the day to what mood she's been in.
Highly recommend!
