Hi, our names are Joanne and Gemma and we are 28 and 26 years old. Little Wonders childminding service has been running for just under 4 years. We are based in Burnside which is next to Rutherglen. We are registered with the care inspectorate and are members of the scottish childminding association. We have been working with children for around 8 years and have a great passion for childcare. We provide a flexible childcare service for newborns up to the age of 16 years old, where each individual families needs are met to the best of our abilities. We pride ourselves in providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment for all children in our care.
With our experience we feel we have the right balance between providing a nursery experience with a personal home from home touch. As part of our daily routine we like to get the children out about, this includes attending various classes and groups. We enjoy taking the children on outings such as visiting local libraries, soft plays & parks. Also not forgetting the most fun part of the day.. messy play! Arts and crafts, sensory, sand & water and many more!
My Experience
We have worked together in a private nursery setting for just under 5 years and have decided to bring our knowledge and experience into a home from home environment. Joanne has also worked in a local authority nursery as well as a private nursery setting. We have worked with children from newborn-5 years old throughout this time and have both gained an SVQ level 3 in children's learning and development. We also do babysitting for family members and local families around the community on a regular basis. We both have a full clean driving license and own cars. We hold a full disclosure and are SSSC registered. From our experience we have an excellent understanding of what parents are looking for and their expectations for their children's care. Trust and communication are a vital part of our role.

Our hours are Monday-Thursday from 8am-5.30pm but can be flexible to suit individual families needs.
