About Me
I live in chapel Allerton Leeds with my partner of 35 years. We have three grown up children. I am an advanced childminder rated outstanding by Ofsted. I have over 30 years of childcare experience and would offer your child a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which to learn and grow and reach their full potential. We go on regular trips out to the local toddler groups, libraries, parks and the farm. I have a dedicated play room filled with lots of educational and exciting toys and we will have fun with painting, music, baking, dressing up and role play and much more. We have a large enclosed back garden for out door activities and I have a clean driving license for trips out in the car. I do not charge extra for the trips out to toddler groups, farm etc.
I provide three healthy, home cooked meals a day as well as healthy snacks which are all included in price.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 1987 (except for the 10 years when I was nursing) as I find working with children a hugely enjoyable and rewarding career. I am still in touch with all the children I have childminded over the years and am now looking after some of their children! When my children were young I worked in their primary school assisting in class. I did a playgroup leaders course in 1990,and do continuous professional development having completed the level 3 child development course in 2015. I renewed my paediatric first aid certificate in 2022 and do regular training courses in all aspects of child development to ensure my knowledge is up to date and to provide the best care for my charges.
My Qualifications
I completed the playgroup leaders course in 1990
I have completed the childminders registration course in 2010
I have passed the paediatric first aid course.
level 3 childrens and young peoples workforce and have complteted all the relevent child development courses provided by leeds city council.
I do continuous professional development to ensure I provide the beat possible care for every child.
My Availability
I have a full time vacancy on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday throughout the year. I work from 8 a.m until 5 p.m.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge £60 for a full day 8 a.m - 5 p.m.
This includes all meals, snacks and trips out.
