About Us
Welcome to Brandhall Nursery.
OFSTED Grade: GOOD (Jan 2019).
We provide care and education for three and four year olds and are part of Brandhall Primary School. Our aim is to provide every child with the best possible start in an environment which is caring, supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
We offer 15 hour and 30 hour places and fee paying places, subject to capacity. We also accept tax free childcare payments, childcare voucher payments and can provide evidence needed for government support towards childcare costs.
We are open during school term-time, Monday to Friday and offer breakfast and after school club, if required, between the hours of 7:30-9am and 3-6pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Holiday playschemes are also available from the age of 3 years for set holidays.
Our 3-4 year old funded places are offered as follows:
-Monday 9am-3pm, Tuesday 9am-3pm and Wednesday 9am-12pm (15 free hours per week)
-Wednesday 12:15-3:15pm, Thursday 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-3pm (15 free hours per week)
-Monday to Friday 9am-3pm (30 free hours per week or 15 free hours and 15 fee paying hours)
-*3 days per week 8am-6pm (30 free hours per week)
*Please note, the 3 days chosen are subject to availability in our breakfast and after school club.
Hot lunch options are available at a cost of £2 per day and we are able to cater for those with dietary requirements.
Our nursery is teacher lead and all of our staff are qualified to level 3 minimum and are sometimes supported by apprentices and students, all of whom are cleared through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) process before working with children.
Our fully equipped indoor and outdoor environments provide a safe setting for children to learn through play.
We are an 'open door' nursery, so we are happy to discuss any queries or concerns you may have and we extend an open invitation to you to come and see what we have to offer you and your child. All we would ask is that you contact the nursery beforehand, just to ensure that we have a member of staff available to show you our setting and answer any questions you may have.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £30.00 per day
Our fees are session based:
-Day time costs between 9am-3pm are £5 per hour
-Breakfast Club from 7:30-9am costs £8.75 per session
-Breakfast Club from 8-9am costs £5.75 per session
-After School Club from 3-5:30pm costs £11 per session
-After School Club from 3-6pm costs £14 per session
-Hot lunches cost £2 per day

My son started at Brandhall Tots just after turning 2, I was nervous, he was nervous, we were nervous! At 6 months old he very much turned in to a covid baby so naturally we were worried about the transition. The staff however were AMAZING, and just knew what to do and how to settle him in.
We found trusting the staff to look after him very easy. When we pick him at home time we get a quick update on how he has been and what he has eaten (or not eaten) and so far we have had 2 parents evenings and I am impressed with the detail the staff go in to to explain his development in all areas!
As I am a first time mother I wasnt really sure how the admission process worked but the nusery administrator was great and answered all my questions so well and made me feel very comfortable.
I'm glad we made the choice to send our son here, he always looks forward to school!

My daughter started at Brandhall Tots and Nursery this September and we have been delighted with the induction process and how quickly she has settled. She really loves going to Nursery and is very, very happy there.
The staff are lovely and really caring, as well as providing an excellent education. My little girl particularity loves looking after the pets and the amazing outdoor play areas.
She is always coming home and excitedly telling me about new things she has learnt :) I love the weekly newsletter/homework, so we can follow up on things at home as well. I would highly recommend this Nursery, she was at at 'Outstanding' Nursery before and I feel this offers so much more (and this is coming from a very fussy Mum!).
