About Me
I'm a sporty individual who has worked alongside children for most of my life, whether in children's clubs, day nurseries or school.
I like to read once i find the right book, play video games and play every sport under the sun. Ultimate frisbee is my favourite and football, tennis and badminton are those i enjoy most.
I enjoy cooking and am capable of whipping up healthy meals as i like to look after myself and would provide those i am looking after with the same.
Art, drawing, painting and general making things and potentially geting sticky and messy is always fun too. I have a number of different pieces ive worked on recently and would be more than happy to encourage your children to try their hand at it too.
I moved from Liverpool to Bristol a number of years ago and loved it, hence me still being in the area. I am a huge LFC supporter but if you would like your children's loyalty to go with another team, i wont try to influence them (too much).
I thoroughly enjoy working with children, having fun with them, supporting them to achieve their own personal goals and seeing them develop. I get to know the individual child, their likes/dislikes and gain their trust while giving them mine to form a positive relationship where we can work, play and learn together to grow into what we want to be.

My Experience
Between the ages of 17-20, I volunteered in a children's evening club for children aged 7-11.
Between the ages of 18-20, I volunteered in a number of primary schools during my College course working with ages between 5-11 as well as day nurseries and daycare centres with children between 9 months and 3 years.
From 21 years old until now i have been registered with various childcare agencies. Whilst with these agencies, I have been in multiple primary schools in Bristol working with children between 5-11.
I have also been into a number of day nurseries and daycare centres working with children aged 8mth to 3 years.
At 23 years old, i worked in a daycare nursery for 12 months in the "monkey room" for children aged 2-3 years.
Also, ive grown up with my cousin with Cerebral Palsy. From very young, i have been a very close friend and continue to be now. We have been out to places, trips but also just staying at home playing video games and listening to music. I am comfortable caring for him with hings like toileting, feeding and other, everyday tasks he finds more difficult to do.
Over the last 2 years, I worked in a primary school as 1-1 SEN Support supporting the child to access the learning effectively and to ensure the child was receiving the necessary support for not just the educational side but their own health and well-being too.
I then changed to Nannying 2 days a week for a lovely family with 2 girls (reception and Year 5) which was a lovely experience and working with children in a new environment.
On the side of this, I went to various different primary schools running Ultimate Frisbee based P.E sessions, after school club sessions and lunch time sessions with whole classes and small groups which again, very different environment and really enjoyed it. This is when Covid hit and they are currently both on hold for the time being.

My Availability
I am currently the registered carer for a member of my household and due to Covid, they have only just gone back to college so I am supporting there with lifts if need be. My partner (a Primary Teacher) has also just gone back to work so I am supporting there too.
Ideally, I am looking for part time hours for the moment with a potential aim to pick up more as time goes by.
