About Me
My name is Rukhsana , I have been OFSTED registered since 2017 and received an OUTSTANDING grade in all areas in my recent inspection April 2019.
I am based in N4,London,close to Finsbury Park and right apposite of Clissold Park on Green Lane, near to Manor House underground station.
Beside being fully qualified childminder, Iam a reliable, flexible and caring professional .
PLEASE NOTE:
I am currently only taking children of the age 2 and under.
I pride my self on having a safe, clean and smoke free home. I am within walking distance of library, duck pond , children centre and local shops and a frequent visitor to all of them!
I am committed to provide a high quality childcare by:
* Provide and take part in play based activities and stimulate and support children's intellectual, physical, social, emotional and language development.
* I aim to provide a wide range of opportunities in the form of interactive,fun and challenging activities to enable children of all backgrounds and abilities to develop and learn through play in a caring , supportive and happy environment.
* To develop social skills, mental and physical skills and knowledge of the world around them to help prepare for the transition to school and the life challenges ahead.
* To learn to work in harmony alongside their peers.
* Each child treated as an individual.
* I offer a balanced curriculum,in a home environment of stimulating and constructive play and activities to develop creativity and imagination.
* I offer healthy refreshments,lunch . I have completed The’Eat Better,start Better’’ program , achieving level 3 certificate. And I follow their food and drink guidelines which describes the types and amounts of food and drinks to provide in early years settings to help ensure the National requirements of children are met in my care.
* I offer safe environment for children including:
Risk assessments of indoor/outdoor
Ensuring equipment and toys are safe and age appropriate.
* Ensuring good hygiene standards are met.
* Following all safety procedures (including child protection)
* I hold up to date paediatric First Aid certificate and First Aid Box is .
regularly checked.
* All members of the family are DBS checked
* I am also registered to work with 2 assistants , fully DBS checked , and holds a valid PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID Certificate .
I run my setting professionally so I and my assistant regularly attend relevant meetings and training events to refresh of mandatory training.
I understand the needs of busy parents so i therefore offer you with:
Baby’s Days App which allows parents to be updated throughout the day , including pictures , videos , dairies, permissions , incidents/accidents ,all at the click of a finger tip so you can read and sign whenever and where ever you are.
Being a parent to four children my self, I understand the strain you may go through during the whole process of childcare and to be be away from your child,keeping this in mind I will update you with your child's day with me through pictures and short video clips so you will never feel away from your child. And easily accessible from your phone.
I strongly believe in building and maintaining positive and professional relationship with parents,and carers .
I recognise the importance of parental involvement in a child’s early years and look forward to working together as a team to meet your child(ren’s) full potential.

My Experience
Prior to childminding , I worked as an administrator for 3 years . I also worked in my local school with children ages from 4yrs to 6yrs as teaching assistant.
The youngest child I have minded was 4 weeks old, when I first started to look after children. I am very happy and confident looking after young babies. I also care for a number of toddlers and pre-schoolers from all backgrounds and cultures.
I have plenty of experience to look after school children and currently working with , school children .
After having my youngest child, I decided to become a childminder as I feel I can provide quality childcare for other families.

My baby girl was under her care for a year and a half. She is probably everything you'd hope from a childminder, trustworthy, understanding, kind, warming, loving, caring and definitely reliable and consistent through the whole periold, just as so many have said in previous reviews. My husband and I both are truly grateful that we have her as my baby girl's childminder. We greatly appreciate the love that she gifted to my babygirl. Thank you Rukhsana!
Overall
Our son has been coming to Rukhsana since he was 11 months old and I’m so glad we chose Rukhsana for his childcare.
Being a lockdown baby we weren’t sure how he would settle, as he hadn’t really spent any time apart from us. Rukhsana was very caring and flexible in these early days and tailored the settling in period to suit his needs. He settled in in no time! He is always so excited when we drop him off in the mornings and it’s lovely to see the special bond he has with Rukhsana. She provides a happy and nurturing environment and pays really close attention to each child’s development. He has developed so much since he started with Rukhsana and it’s great for us to know how much he enjoys his time there. Rukhsana provides a nice healthy lunch for him each day and has been very accommodating with him through his fussy phases! She takes excellent care of him and we would strongly recommend her to other parents.

When I am not with my baby, I think that Rukhsana is her mother and I can be calm because she takes care of and guides my baby in her learning and development because she depends on you in the nursery hours, I see that my baby learns more every day And it's a good sign that you do a good job with the kids. you are definitely a shining star in my daughter's life.

Rukhsana looked after our baby daughter from 11 months old and we are very pleased with our experience - she was looked after with love and care and we could always rely on Rukhsana as parents.
Our eldest daughter attended nursery at a similar age and it took her weeks of crying/clinging to settle in, but Rukhsana managed to settle our younger one in a matter of a week which was a happy surprise. Rukhsana always carefully observes and tries different techniques to comfort the children (rather than controlling them) which we believe helped create a strong bond so swiftly…!
At her home, our daughter enjoyed different activities daily - she learned “tea time” role play with other children in her first month, and loved outings at the neighbouring Clissold park on sunny Summer days. She also enjoyed different healthy home-made lunches every day which was helpful to us.

Rukhsana is very experienced in chid minding, she is very good at reading children especially my daughter is still not able to talk yet. The place is not big but it is well equipped, the house is always clean, the play area is all protected and the stairs are kept away with a barrier so it is safe, same goes with the kitchen area as well.
My daughter is very happy going there, I make her meals etc, but Rukhsana does provide meals and one time she enjoyed eating the food there, and I discovered Rukhsana is very health conscious about how to make a balanced meal which provides all the nutrients a child needs.
I also like the fact she updates with photos and when the weather is good, Clissord park is just right outside of the building, I highly recommend Rukhsana, she is professional and very clear on what to do to make a child healthy and happy.
