About Me
I have a daughter who is 3 and attends sonning common pre-school so I'm looking for a family with little ones so we can grow together or for a family that needs before/after school care that I can bring my little one with me.
I really enjoy looking after children and am fun and active while still carrying out household chores.
I love being creative and making things with children following their interests or giving then new exciting inspiration. I am very patient and hard working. I have sound knowledge of the EYFS (under 5's curriculum) and early stages of development. I believe in teaching young children through play and helping development through exploration of their environment.
I am fit and active I enjoy being outdoors, either in the garden or going to the park or walking and I love teaching children about nature, trees and insects.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years with children from 3months-16 years old. 10 years working in nurseries and over 5 years as a nanny.
I have a foundation degree in childcare, equivalent to 5 years higher education (nvq5). I love looking after children and thinking of fun and educational activities while still carrying out household tasks. I am hard working, reliable, flexible and can provide excellent references.

We loved having Jenny's help with our two year old daughter during a two week visit to the New Forest. She quickly gained her trust and had her outside happily playing with leaves and acorns. Lucy would talk about all the fun she had with "Auntie Jenny" for hours each afternoon when they got back. Jenny not only kept Lucy safe and comfortable, but she also played with her in ways that helped her learn and have so much fun during our trip. It can be nerve-wracking setting up a new babysitter halfway across the world, but we are so glad we found Jenny!
