About Me

Hello,

I am a mother of two, was born in New Zealand, have lived in thr UK for 10 years now. I have 2 children, oldest being up 5 and youngest being 17 months. My 5 year old is in year 1 and a lovely school in Harpenden.

Before I had my youngest son I nannied for a year and a half until I went on maternity leave but unfortunately the little boy I had in my care is coming up the age of 3 so I will no longer be needed.

I was also a nanny when my daughter was 6 months old, I looked after another little girl who was the same age and occasionally looked after their son who was 3 at the time when he wasn’t at nursery.

Growing up I have worked in and out of childcare, I have worked in nursery’s and after school care which is more of a professional setting however, being a mum is where I truly learnt about children.

I have my first aid, clean DBS, my own transport, I can do meal prep for the children and light house duties when children nap.

I will be a nanny with own child but this makes no difference to me and doesn’t affect my responsibilities and duties as a Nanny.

Activities I love to do when out with children is going to parks, soft play, music and rhyming classes and messy play.

My Experience

I have had children in my care most of my teenager/adult hood. From baby sitting, working in a nursery as a helper, working in after school care and raising my sister who was a baby at the time from the age of 18. Although I may not have any qualifications I have a great deal of experience first hand.

I would like to find a new family that I not only nanny for but can become apart of the family.
