Hello, Nicole here. I am an Ofsted registered (tax free childcare can be used) energetic and outgoing nanny with 14 + professional years of teaching and caring for Children. Following the Covid Pandemic I decided to seek new challenges in Education and stepped away from teaching dance and managing a dance company. During my teaching in a local primary school an opportunity arose for me to become a full time nanny for a family I worked AD hoc for following the birth of their second child and I have been working for them since. My wife and I are relocating to Birmingham where she grew up and are in the process of buying a house ready for our move up in May this year. In everything I do I give 100% and love to share my joy for adventure and learning.
My Experience
I have been caring for children from my family and friends of the family since I was a teenager and have spent the past fourteen years working for families caring for newborns to teenagers. My years as a private family nanny, dance teacher and school teacher has given me a versatile realm of experience with children including a lot of work with children with SEN. As a household Nanny I run the day to day life of the children from getting them ready in the morning giving personal care and grooming to bringing them to school or classes. I care for all nursery duties and pride myself in managing an effective nursery to make the families access to belongings easy and organised on the days I am not working.
In everything I do I love to encourage and nurture love for play and education with children by allowing them to discover and enjoy the fun and importance of life. It is important to me that children experience a versatile timetable of activities both at home and out so I love to take the children I care for to music and dance classes as well as out on trips to the library, parks, farms, zoo, museums and beyond. In everything I do I am brilliantly organised managing my time efficiently and love to ensure an easy and effective running of nursery duties for children in their home.

Full First Aid Training which includes paediatric and EpiPen training
Common Core Skill Training - Ofsted Approved

Level 3 Mulitskills in Sports

My Availability
From the beginning of June 2024 I will be available to start a new full time role in Birmingham. It is possible that I could start in May time if the right job is offered.

We had Nicole nanny for our 5 year old girl, and occasionally our 3 month old girl, over the summer holidays.
We were so impressed with Nicole and would not hesitate to recommend her. She is so energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about childcare. She was great with boundaries and teaching through play. She also helped around the house with chores, which was a great help. The biggest compliment that we can pay her is that our 5 year old absolutely loves her and keeps asking us when she’s coming back. We love you, Nicole, thank you for everything!!
