About Me
I have been qualified for over ten year's I hold my nvq level 3 in early years care and education and also hold a teaching assistant level 3. I have first aid training and safeguarding training and food hygiene. I have worked in several private settings over the years. I took a break to bring up my own children. I work with my husband, Chris Flitcroft. he is also a qualified childminder and a gold member of childcare.co.uk, so if you wish to contact us, please do so on his profile. We have a strong love of animals and have lots of pets, including dogs, cat, and tortoise . I am a bubbly outgoing person who loves to teach and watch the children grow and develop. I will be using the EYFS to a high standard of planning activities and observing the children. I will pick up and drop off from ravensdale primary school only. We have availability for under 5 year olds Monday to Friday x
My Experience
I have worked in several private Day nurseries since gaining my qualifications. I've had lots of experience planning activities and observing children and completing Learning journals and linking this to the eyfs. I have three children of my own i have experience with autism as my son is autistic and just gained a qualification in learning with autism. Recently graded Good by ofsted in December 2018

Julie and her husband Chris are a great team. My daughter joined them at 8 months and settled in straight away, you can now see her excitement as soon as she sees their front door. They are so good at recognising her development needs and work hard to ensure she is progressing.
They are very considerate of my wishes and for her routine that I have set up at home. In the time my daughter has been there she has come along so well, physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially which I know is down to there enthusiasm and support.
As myself and my husband are both NHS staff it is also a massive help how flexible they can be and are really supportive of us as working parents.
