Hello families!
My name is Wojtek ('Voy-tek). I live in Fulham and I'm a qualified English Teacher with BA degree from Poland. I've been in the UK since September 2016. Currently, I work as a Teaching Assistant (Year 5&6) at a private school in Fulham. I also work as a Teacher on Saturdays at a Polish Saturday School in New Malden (teaching Year 4). Moreover, I used to be an au pair/male nanny for the last 7 years. Therefore, I possess a great deal of experience of working with children at all ages.
I'm looking for a new, full time role starting August/September 2024. I've decided to change my career at the moment and would like to become a professional Manny or a Governor to your children. I believe I can use all my vast experience and help your children grow and learn. Please take a look at the section "my experience" where I enlisted everything.
I'm happy to work full time Monday-Friday, during half-terms and travel with you and accompany during holidays. I don't mind ocassional babysitting.
I've been tutoring a lot during my time here so I can offer help with any kind of homework and also help with playing instruments. I can play the guitar and the piano.
I can cook well and prepare healthy, delicious meals from scratch for children. I don't mind doing laundry for children. I'm very organised and I like when everything is in place and on time.
I have full driving licence with experience of driving here. I used to have my own car but I sold it when I bought a flat in Fulham. I've got a bike instead and enjoy long walks.
I'm open and friendly, reliable, honest, conscientious, hard-working, responsible and musical. I like any kind of sports, especially swimming, cycling, football, volleyball and table tennis. Teaching and music are my passion - I play the guitar, the piano and sing a lot. I like to sing along to the guitar with children. There's one thing that I know for sure - children are never bored with me!

My Experience
I've got a great deal of experience of working with children:
- I've been an au pair before in the USA for a year (2013-2014) working with a 10-year old autistic boy
- I've done my work experience as an English teacher at primary schools (over 150 hours)
- I've been a volunteer in the orphanage in 2013-2016 and participated in three summer camps where I took a 24-hour care of a group of children between the ages of 3 and 12 (each camp lasted 17 days)
- I used to be a tutor in Poland for over 5 years - taught English to children and adults
- I work as a Polish teacher at a Polish Saturday School in New Malden (9:00-13:00 every Saturday). This will be my eighth year at this school
- I worked as a Teaching Assistant for one year in a private school in Esher, taking care of an autistic boy in Reception class
- I worked as a TA for Year 5 at Claremont Fan Court school in Esher in 2019
- I used to work as an au pair/male nanny for over 7 years. I stayed with my last family for over 3,5 years
- Currently I work as a TA for Year 5 & 6 pupils at Thomas's Fulham (my core hours are 8:00-16:00/17:00). This role will finish at the beginning of July 2024.
