No longer offering the Government funded aspect of Early Years education.

Launching the Adventure Bus - a converted mini-bus, now a fully enclosed mobile classroom! Taking all that we need for a day's adventure - crafty stuff, books to back up what we see, toys and games to help us explore what we see, and food for the day's journey - and travelling in style.

I believe with passion that children should be able to learn by experiencing what goes on in the world and from watching how the world works, rather than being location based. Whether we're stalking the postman to see where our letters go, following the rubbish lorry, exploring the river from source to mouth, running through flying buttresses, visiting different churches and seeing what we can find, shooting water pistols around ruins, exploring nature and learning the names of our wild flowers, following the journey from grain to bread and so MUCH MORE, it's holistic learning in a fun-filled day! The learning experience can be adapted to suit children of all ages and inclinations.

SATURDAY MORNING CRAFTY CLUB
Explore, design and create using a wide range of materials and techniques.

A home-from-home, nurturing environment enables children to relax and develop their own skills, interests and personalities, growing in confidence without the constraints of peer pressure.

Active bodies, active minds: plenty of opportunity for outside play within a countryside setting and trips to local places of interest.

I've worked with children for over 20 years, in a number of different roles and still maintain that each child is different.
Children respond well to my fun, fair, firm and consistent approach, feeling secure, appreciated, challenged and fulfilled.
I am outdoorsy and have a love of nature which I pass on to the children in my care and equally enjoy developing awareness of history and the arts, bringing our suroundings to life.
