About Me
Hello. I've been a qualified childminder since 2015 and I'm registered with an Ofsted regulated agency.
I live in North Kingston together with my husband and my daughter, she is 14 and our 4 year old Jack Russell Dog called Poppy. We are a very loving family and enjoy walking the dog and days out at the beach, Poppy is fantastic with children and loves to play ball.
My setting offers a safe and welcoming home which is always full of fun, music (my husband is a musician) and baking. In addition to that we love playing board games, doing arts and crafts and lots more imaginative play.
We try to embrace outdoor play as often as possible along with activities that encourage confidence building and to promote and develop social and educational skills. Richmond Park and Ham Woods are round the corner and I enjoy taking the children for picnics and looking for animals etc. We are also very close to Canbury Gardens and often take the children to feed the ducks and play at the park.
Our house is a short walking distance to and from Latchmere School and I am well known by the school. It's also only a 15-20 min walk to Kingston Town Centre and the train station, making it ideal for those who commute.
I am originally from Germany and have been living in the UK with my husband and our 2 girls since 2006. As my husband is British we are a bilingual household.
We embrace healthy eating with daily home-cooked meals but can accommodate any specific dietary requirements.
My Experience
Apart from over 18 years experience as a mum I also have gained experience by helping out as a volunteer with children of different age groups and ethnic backgrounds.
