About Me
Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. I am 32 years old and live with my daughter (born April 2019) in Rayleigh with our 2 cats.
I am a trained Primary school teacher and since leaving teaching around 5 years ago I have worked closely with a range of children in my role as a Nanny and/or babysitter. I have also been bringing up my daughter who is now 3 years old and now attends nursery 2.5 days a week.
I'm a friendly, approachable and hardworking individual. In my role as a Nanny/babysitter I have often taken children in my care on local outings including Marsh Farm and hyde hall. I love to interact with children and have a good rapport with children.
I am currently building some lovely relationships with some local families who I am hoping to be able to babysit regularly. I am looking to babysit for more families and I am also available for tutoring. My availability for babysitting is quite flexible. I am available for tutoring during the school day on Tuesdays, Wednesday afternoons and Thursdays. As well as Wednesdays after school and Saturday daytimes.
I strongly believe that learning should be interactive and am currently building on a repertoire of activities and resources which are non paper and non screen based. My aim is to provide tutoring with a difference!
My Experience
I am a qualified Primary school teacher and have experience of supporting children with their learning in my role as a Nanny and babysitter with homework or early years learning through play. I have looked after children between the ages of 1 and 9, as a Nanny/babysitter.
I have classroom experience of working with children between the ages of 4 and 11, as well as supporting homeschooling to a 6 and 8 year old during Lockdown. This enabled me to use my teaching skills in a different context.
I have experience interacting with and caring for a range of children including my own daughter, nieces and nephews and children of close friends.
My Qualifications
PGCE (primary).BAhons English Literature and Philosophy. IB(equivalent of AAA at A-level). GCSEs A-B (Eng lit,lang,media/Maths inc. Statistics/Tripple Science and more)
My Availability
I am looking to start tutoring on a Saturday morning at pupils' homes.
I am also available during the school day on a Tuesday or Thursday for home ed. students. I can teach English and maths across the Primary ages. I am particularly pationate about Maths, Phonics and Grammar!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
Childcare- Nannying/babysitting at £10 an hour.
Tutoring usually priced at £25 an hour or £15 for half an hour. Group tutoring (up to 4 pupils) available at £25 for the group for 1 hour. Second hour for the same family or group at £20.
