I care for children age 4 months to 12 years
I take and collect children from Callis Grange Infants and Nursery School and St Peters Junior School. I am a member of a local childminding group and this allows children to make a wider circle of friends.
I enjoy working with children and provide a stimulating and caring environment that gives every individual child the opportunity to develop to their full potential. Having three children of my own
I went into childcare when they were small.
I offer a wide range of activities, crafts, baking outings and a home from home for the children. Offering a friendly and stimulating environment for all ages and stages of development , we are close to main bus routes, and offer an extensive range of equipment and lovely outdoor area. We love to get out and about to beaches , zoos, farms , woods and parks. I accept government free education entitlement which enables me to offer free child care spaces for 2, 3 to 4 year olds for 15 to 30hrs, Please feel free to ring for a visit or if you have any questions. I have spaces at the moment.
We walk to and from local schools and live in a lovely quiet street walking distance from the beach, parks and country side.

I am available to provide childcare from 7-30am to 4-30pm Monday to Thursday (1pm on Fridays) but I can be flexible these hours can be extended (there may be additional fees). I will try to be as flexible as required.

We have found JoJo through a page on Facebook called Thanet Childminders (as I was told later, page is run and moderated by Jo as well, great help for local parents and carers). She is located very close to us, and provides pick-ups from my girl's school, so it was easy to get in touch. My research prior to contacting Jo was surprising - most of my neighbours has known her for taking care of their or their friends' children, so thought she must be a local celebrity in a childminders world :) And when we met and settled our terms, I couldn't be more amazed. JoJo is a one-band woman of a childminding! My daughter always learn something new, goes somewhere new or brings some new ideas from visit's at Jojo's house. There's always plenty to do and company to play with, no wonder that H. never want's to leave Jo's place. I am always amazed with amount of crafts they do and skills they gain, my little girl just learned to sew a felt toy, all with Jo's guidance and supervision. Jo is sometimes handling a bunch of kids, but they are playing together well and I know that my daughter loves to be in a busy group, as she is an only child and very sociable. They not only do crafting, but go out and about as well. I couldn't recommend JoJo's childcare more, she is just the one we need and so much more.

My son Jack started at Jo's a year ago at 10 months old. He was very shy and afraid of loud noises at the time and I was too nervous about putting him into nursery as it just didn't feel like the right fit for his nature.
Just over a year on, he is thriving and so sociable and happy! Jo has provided him with a home-like environment and probably as many cuddles (and definitely more fun!) than he would have at home!
I was blown away by her dedication to her career on our first visit and that has continued throughout. Jack learns new things, engages in new activities and has fun every day.
As a working mum, I'm also eternally grateful for Jo's support and guidance at what behaviours and learning we should be continuing at home to keep his development consistent.
We couldn't recommend 'JoJo' enough.
(Ps - I have not starred food as he has packed lunch, which has not been a problem at all. Jo is always on hand with a sandwich if I forget!)
