Hi my name is Hannah I have 3 little girls ages 12, 10 and 3 years old and a little dog called fluffy and two tortoises, which the children help take care of, I am located just off willerby road in hull.
i have 19 years experience, and have spend my full career working with family’s and children and vulnerable adults
I have experience in working in schools, special schools, during my placements for my health and social care courses.
I worked for a company called autism plus for 9 years where I gained lots of experience and certificates in Autism, epilepsy, medication, pecs, communication.
From there I then worked in a prison for three years being a prison play leader working with children and family’s.
In 2016 and 2017 I did further placements as a TA in a school whilst I was studying for my level 3 diploma in childcare.
I have always worked with children and babies from babysitting children from the age of 15, I have higher qualification in childcare and also re-sat my GCSE’s to help gain these qualifications and help in my new role as a childminder.
We have lots activity’s at home and we also like to do lots of activity’s out doors including visiting farms, parks, play areas trips to the sea side for ice creams.
I also use the system babyday's where parents can see what their children and doing on a daily basis along with photos and videos.
I do care for children with additional needs and we do use makaton and sign language with in the setting with all children, we do lots of signing hands, i work alongside speech and language therapist who some times come in to the setting and share there methods and aids so i can access these with the children in my care also.

I would like to work 7.30 until 5.00pm however I do like to be flexible if parents do have shift work and can let me know of hours in advance

Hannah has looked after my 3 year old little girl for nearly 2 years now and we are so lucky to have a place at Hamilton childcare. My daughter has SEN needs and will have an EHCP when she starts school, and Hannah has gone above and beyond to prepare for this: attending meetings and preparing paperwork in a thoughtful and conscientious manner. She has prepared specific resources for my little girl to learn alongside the other children in the setting, promoting fantastic inclusion, and my daughter feels happy, listened to and safe within Hannah's setting. I always know when I drop my daughter off she will have a lovely time and be cared for with love. Hannah is amazing.

Our son has been cared for by Hannah for over a year now. He loves spending time with Hannah and the other children. Hannah ensures the children get lots of outdoor playtime and a wide range of activities. Our son had really bad separation anxiety initially but with Hannah's patience and encouragement he now runs in smiling every day. We are so pleased with our choice of childcare and can see how much our little boy has come on in confidence and speech especially through being looked after by Hannah.

Hannah is a great childminder who I would definitely recommend. My daughter loves spending time with Hannah and her daughters. I get regular updates and photos about my daughters progress and what interesting activities they have been getting up to.

Hannah was a brilliant childminder for our two children - they absolutely loved going to her.
She was wonderful with them and I knew that they were well cared for when they were with her.
