About Me
Hello. I am a mum to two children aged eight and twelve. I have worked in Early Years for over thirteen years during which time I have been the manager of an outstanding setting and part of a senior leadership team. I have an education degree and some experience of SEN. I am very passionate about the importance of children having as wonderful a childhood as possible. For the last 4 years I have been a stay-at-home mum, home educating my twelve year old who is autistic. Personally I like reading, painting and interior design. I am kind, patient and caring. I am a stay at home mum but this last year I have been volunteering as an invigilator in the home-ed community. I have enjoied this and really would love work a bit more to still be around children and have a little something for myself. Therefore, i am offering my services as a babysitter or as ad-hoc help. I can help with babysitting, home schooling, admin support for childminders etc.
My Experience
I have worked in Early Years for thirteen years. I was managing for the last ten years and I have a BAHons in Education Training. I keep myself up to date with the latest ideas and theories of play and education. I have experience with my own child who has SEN needs aswell as anxiety. I have also worked with some children who had different SEN or health needs.
My Qualifications
BA Hons in Education and Training - first class
I have previously held first aid and safeguarding qualifications although these have now run out. I have help these for years and am happy to re-do if necessary.
My Availability
With advanced notice I can work evenings, weekends and school hours during the week, 9.30 to 2.30. For emergency care, or any care really, i can be more flexible if you are happy for my own children (my youngest, age 8, girl, very chill and alm) to be with me (at times my husband is working).

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
These can be negotiable. For overnight stays we can agree a rate on individual requirements. Please note, i would be looking after your child in your home.
