About Me
Hi,I’m Terence, I'm registered with NICMA (Northern Ireland Childminding Association) looking for families who require a babysitter or childminder to work in their own home. I'm a massive advocate of outdoor play for children and love going for day trips and outings when we're not completing homework, playing board games, cooking, baking, modelling or any other indoor activities. I currently have availability and am happy to be as flexible as possible as I understand that in current circumstances life is a bit unpredictable.
My hobbies include camping, swimming, cleaning and caring for animals. I'm not at all put off by any pets you may have in fact they add to the fun! I am happy to carry out any walking/feeding/cleaning out required. I'm taller than average and have definitely been referred to as 'a gentle giant'.

My Experience
I have experience childminding primary aged children and have spent time helping out in a primary school, working with children with challenging behaviour.
In February 2020 worked in The Bahamas supporting children who were out of school due to the effects of Covid-19 (I returned mid-April 2020)
When returned I worked with a family for 1.5 years looking after their son, and also worked with another family for 6 months picking their three children up from school and doing homework’s and taking to after school activities.
I have a NCFE Cache level 3 Diploma for children’s care learning and development and a certificate in youth ministries done at Union Theological college Belfast.
Also worked as a support worker working with children and teens with learning difficulties.
I also have over ten years experience with children from volunteering at a local church youth activities to summer camps (including but not limited to Czech Republic and Dublin).
