My Summary
About Me
I provide funded childcare for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and non funded childcare for older children. I have been a registered childminder with Ofstead for 19 years.
I live withmy daughter who has recently returned from university, she is 21; my twin nephews aldo live with me, they are 12 year old boys.
We have a pet guineapig named Pickle ; we also have a budgie named Stormfly who flies free in the house during the day, some fish and a hamster. I have an enclosed back garden which the children can enjoy and is safe; I have lots of fun things in my garden for the children and we use it a lot. The front of my house is all grasssy so good for children to play, we try to get outside as often as possible, visiting parks, playgroups, soft play etc. I have a car, which i use for my job , unfortunately it's not a 7 seater but it certainly comes in handy for school runs and days out. My house is a home from home... not a nursery. I currently pick up from John F Kennedy Primary School and Barmston Village Primary school. My work hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday but I try to be a bit flexible. I'm on FB & WhatsApp.
My Experience
I look after children from 3 months onwards and my hours are flexible, I will fit in with you if possible. I don't work weekends as that time is usually spent with family. I have 19 years experience and at the moment have children from the age of 2 - 8 before and after school and of course durng the day, i do nursery runs for some of my children. I do Barmston Primary School and John F Kennedy Primary School, I have vacancy's available to start immediately so feel free to get in touch me with your details and we can go from there. My Qualifications
Of course i have my first aid and child protection certificates and am Ofsted registered just like the schools, as you can imagine i do my fair share of courses ranging from ADHD and Asthma awareness to Interacting with families and Child development. It is an ongoing process. I have just recently re-taken my paediatric first aid, I follow the EYFS just like the nurseries do
