About Me
My name is Kim and I have three children of my own. Two boys who are 16 and 13 years old and a girl who is 10 years old. I live in a Victorian house with my husband, 3 children, Grandma and Grandad and our lovely dog Twinkle who is a lurcher/greyhound She is very friendly. Over the summer I did the life cycle of a chicken with the minded children so incubated and hatched chickens which are now living in the back garden. The children help to look after them as well as Bobby the tortoise.
I enjoy being outside, walking, going to the park and having picnics. I am a qualified Forest School teacher and during the months of April - November I run forest school sessions for my minded children and other childminders.
I like making a mess arts and crafts and am very hands on.
I have been involved in childcare since the age of 17 and am a fun loving person who is down to earth.
My Experience
Since the age of 17 I have worked with children, firstly as a youth worker. I then worked in a Nursery for 2 and a half years. From there I was a Nanny for 10 years, and then after having baby number 3 became a registered childminder in Aug 2009. I Qualified as a Forest School teacher in January 2017 and hold a level 4 childcare diploma through the open university.

I qualified as a Forest School leader at level 3 in 2017
I have a level 4 childcare qualification through the open university.
I have an Nvq level 3 in childcare.
A montessori gold seal diploma.
Have completerd the Chip course needed to become a childminder.
Hold an up to date First Aid Certificate and safeguarding policy
