I'm 30, I live in Sheffield, previously I lived in Cornwall for five years where I studied.
I graduated with an FdA in Early Childhood Education and First Class BA (Hons) in Human Behavioural Studies.
I am a friendly, caring, reliable and responsible individual looking for work with children of all years.
I hold an up-to-date DBS certificate, I renew this each year on the update service online.
My Experience
I currently work for the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant in primary schools across Sheffield. I finish at 2pm Monday-Friday and so can be available for any wrap around care.
I have worked in primary schools as a Teaching Assistant for the last five years where I gained experience working with special needs, EAL learners and learning difficulties. I also have experience tutoring primary-aged children. Other roles that have involved working with children include my role as a children's activity coordinator- providing care and organising activities for children aged between 0-12. This also involved childminding for hotel residents.
I have Signature Accredited Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language, and currently continuing my studies at Level 3.
I have experience of childminding a four year old from this website and have a reference that I would be happy to provide.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children and would welcome any opportunities.
