My name is Joanne! I am 39 years old!
I'm qualified to work with children and I love nannying! I believe it is the most wonderful job to be around children because I find being in their world always makes me happy!
I consider myself to be very creative and caring with a lot of passion for my work!
I'm friendly, reliable, punctual, very tidy and responsible. I love caring for children; playing with them and teaching them. i love working with babies as I use lots of music and nursery rhymes, colours, and shapes but I also enjoy doing things with older children such as arts and crafts, baking, drawing, painting, singing, reading stories,walking in the park , planning playdates with other children. I'm very good at organising activities every day to give a varied and enjoyable time for the child.
I believe it is important to have daily exchanges of information with the parents, and I always listen and respect the parents' views.
I am very sincere and honest and I appreciate these qualities in others.

My Experience
I have been looking after children from the age of 19 as my chosen career! Even when I was at school studying I did various babysitting jobs and work experience in schools and nursery settings!
I have also grown up looking after my nieces and nephews when they were little tots! All great fun!
I have worked with lots of wonderful families as a sole charged nanny! From birth - 13 years of age!
I have gained so much experience in all these years
Travelled to so many places with the families as well :0) such as Washington, D.C.turkey , lived in Marbella with one family for a year as part of my job in 2006! Been skiing in France and Switzerland! Also the Maldives in 2022

We needed a temporary nanny for 6 weeks while my wife recovered from surgery. We were so lucky to find Jo.
Jo instantly bonded with our 3 children (aged 5, 2 and 1) and settled into our home life very quickly. She was amazing fun with the children, coming up with new games and keeping playtime very varied, adapting activities for each child's needs. She is creative too and encourages the children's creativity.
Jo is firm when necessary but always very calm and considered. The children really respected her but were also incredibly fond of her.
Jo is a good cook too, cooking a variety of healthy meals and always making mealtime enjoyable.
Whilst looking after the children Jo also seems to find time to clean up as she goes and if she sees other things which need doing then she'll do them.
Every night when I come home the children are happily playing, bathed, in their PJs and the house is tidy. Couldn't ask for more :)
Overall
Jo has been looking after our two children for nearly three years and has become part of the family. She is flexible, reliable and has never taken a day off sick. The children love her (and so does the dog)! Jo loves to be busy so when the children are occupied (they are 13 and 11) she will find things to do such as ironing, cleaning and organising. She is a real asset to the family and makes life as a working mum a lot less stressful.
I am happy to supply a reference or talk to potential employers.
