About Me
Hi, my name is Donna, I have a Level 3 award in home based childcare through Pacey and am Ofsted registered. I live in my family home with my husband, 8 year old and 3 year old.
I offer a home from home environment so that your child can feel happy and secure - like it's their second home. I provide a friendly, fun and safe environment and work closely with you as the parent/carer, so that I can understand your preferences for your child's needs. I purposely keep the number of children I look after low, so that while your child is in my care, you can feel assured that they will be given the love, care and attention that they deserve.
In my home I have a play area with a wide variety of different books to read, toys to play with and a range of activities. I also have a large garden where your child will have space to run around and play. They will be able to have creative time where they can be free to paint, colour or play with play-dough. I have a selection of toys to suit all ages encouraging role play, exploring imagination and developing social skills. I provide music time and also outings to local groups, the park or local duck pond.
I was last inspected by Ofsted October 2019 and received a 'Good' rating.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge an hourly rate of £6, for the hours I am responsible for your child.
I ask that parents provide all nappies, formula and meals.

My daughter started staying at Donna’s in April 2022. She was 1,5 yo so still very mummy dependent and fragile. Beginnings were not easy as she refused to eat for the first few days and was missing me a lot but thanks to Donna and only because of her we all managed to survive this. Every day my little girl became more and more confident under Donna’s care. My daughter was always supported, reassured, respected, listened. All her needs and wishes were taken under consideration. Donna treated her exactly the same way I would, which gave me comfort and reassurance so I could focus on work. Month after month Donna, my daughter and Donna’s son were getting closer and grew an amazing bond. My little girl started to feel at Donna’s like at second home and there were days when she refused to leave saying that Donna is more fun! 😅 I was extremely happy with how they spent their time together. I loved that they were outside almost every day, that they attended play groups so my child is not scared of new people and places, they did all the dirty arts and crafts you don’t always want to do at home, they celebrated special occasions, learned numbers, colours, nursery rhymes, read books.. the list is endless. Donna was amazing with keeping my girl calm and comfortable in difficult situations when she all of the sudden had fever or was sick. Amazing communication with me and my husband. We received hundreds of absolutely beautiful pictures. Every day at pickup time Donna gave me a brief handover so I knew what they were up to and how my child was. Donna also writes a child diary where she documents all achievements and child development. To sum this up. I couldn’t been happier and more grateful to Donna for all she did for my little girl. Thank you so so much Donna xxx ❤️
