I have worked in Cwmbran, Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow and surrounding areas so I’m used to travelling for work.
Night nanny, overnight and sleep training also available in request.

I have worked as a sole charge nanny for over 15 years and in that time I have worked with 9 lovely families and built up bonds with both parents and children.
I like nothing more then to take the children I care for out to soft play centres, play groups, parks and long walks.
I also offer ad hoc or regular babysitting services.
I have also completed a sleep training consultant course, which enables me to offer sleep training services to parents.

I have over 15 years of experience working as a sole charge nanny for newborn to sixteen years, Multiples and siblings.
I also have experience with special needs and health conditions.
My first nanny role was for twin girls who I looked after 4 days a week for just over a year, they were 5 months when I started.
One of my positions was with a family for nearly four years looking after three boys. (Ages 8 months 5 & 6 years old when I started) please look at my reviews for a reference from this position.
My longest position which was in Cardiff, came to an end in July 2017.
I was with the family for Nearly 5 years, I looked after 3 children, when I started the children were 3 years and 13 months.
Mum then went on to have another baby and I stayed on as a mothers help to the baby and had sole charge of the other two children.
Mum then went back to work just after a year and I then became sole charge to all three children.

Alongside this position I worked in a playgroup for just over a year, and in this time it enabled me to gain a vast amount of experience and knowledge on the foundation phase which I feel then benefited me in my nanny career.
My last two positions were working for two different families one family in Newport I looked after twin girls who were 4 (2 when I started) and their 2 year old brother (one when I started) please look at my reviews for a reference from this position.
My other family in Cardiff I looked after a 4 and 2 year old.
Both of these positions ended in August 2019.
I currently work for one family Monday-
Thursday looking after a little boy who is 15 months.
I have a full clean UK driving license and car insurance to travel with children.
I have built up skills and knowledge through my training (CACHE Diploma level 3 in Childcare and Education, Health and Social Care and my degree in childhood studies) also working in many schools and nurseries, I have gained a vest amount of experience from working as a sole charge nanny for over eight families.
I feel I am very keen and able to adapt to many situations and challenges that come my way, I am very patient, trustworthy, reliably, flexible, fun loving and a caring person.
I am able to communicate effectively with children, plan and provide activities which are suitable to meet the children's educational and emotional needs.

Katie is a lovely, kind and professional nanny/childminder. Prior to her looking after my newborn twins and eight year old daughter she had provided with me all the relevant references, qualifications and certificates.
The time she had the children, she was on time, very polite, and settled into my home straight away. When she was looking after them she had text me and kept me updated with how they were.
My daughter said she was really kind and lovely and would love for her to look after them again.
I will defiantly be using katie again in the future.

Katie has looked after our two daughters aged 3 and 6 a few times and she is an utter delight to work with. She is punctual, reliable, and has a wonderful warmth combined with exceptional skill in childcare which makes the perfect combination of assets in choosing someone to entrust your children to. Our younger child has separation anxiety sometimes when we go out, and Katie knows exactly how to distract her and calm her down. She is so kind and reassuring, I always know my children are in the safest of hands when they are with Katie and I’d recommend her to anyone for any age child...she is a delight!

Katie has been our son's Nanny since August 2019, it was out first time hiring a Nanny and my first experience of returning to work when my son was 8 months old. Katie made the transition so much easier and she gave me every confidence my son would be so safe and well looked after, fast forward almost 1 year and that confidence has only grown stronger. Katie has an amazing relationship with my son, and I know when I leave him, he will be happy all day long. I see this in all the videos and photos I receive daily. Katie also has additional responsibilities managing a health condition our son has which she takes in her stride. Katie is excellent at ensuring his treatments are administered every day without fail and always has his health, safety, wellbeing and happiness at the heart of everything she does with and for him. Katie is very creative and will always find new things to engage our son with to promote his development and actively encourages his learning every day. Katie is enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable and nurturing, for my son most importantly fun!

Katie was employed with us between Oct 2017 - Aug 2019. During this time she cared for our 3 children. Her duties involved school drop off / pick up, activities, days out, crafts, planning and preparing meals and snacks. There is no doubt that Katie cared and tended for the childrens' needs. She was punctual, reliable and approachable. The kids will miss their Katie days. We wish you the very best for your future.

We have two children and needed someone to care for them while we worked on weekends.
Our eldest is autistic so needed someone who would be able to care for him and our bubbly 5 year old daughter, and Katie has fitted right in.
We are so pleased we found her.
