Hello there!
I'm Maggie, currently fully available for babysitting/childcare as I have just returned from five months in New Zealand (Self Isolation completed)
I have experience with children of all ages (and my own lovely daughter) and have looked after up to four children at a time. I am positive, friendly, playful and kind. If there's some free time - instead of sitting in front of a screen let's play a game or get outdoors! I currently take care of children from 2 to 16.
I have my own car, an enhanced DBS check as well as Paediatric First Aid Qualification. I used to volunteer for an age related charity as a volunteer befriender but this of course has been stopped now due to Covid 19. I enjoy cooking, getting outdoors, and trying new things.
My Experience
I frequently looked after three girls generally every other weekend and they are now 16,11 and 7. We enjoy various activities together, swimming, crazy golf, looking after pets, watching films, reading stories,crafts, walking and visiting local parks. As you can see we enjoy outdoor activities and I like to encourage time away from screens. I can also help with homework, reading and spelling practice as appropriate.
My Qualifications
Plenty of practical experience but currently no formal childcare qualifications, I have an enhanced DBS check as well as Paediatric First Aid. I am calm and confident and able to deal pro actively with most situations.
