About Me
Hi my name is Sarah, I am an ofsted registered graded OUTSTANDING childminder in Islington my childminding service is called Baby Steps Childcare, I have over 9 years experience in childcare with various families and also have worked as a childminding assistant, i love working with children and using my experience to help them develop and grow, our daily routine will include lots of fun activities such as visits to local playgroups and children’s centres to enjoy all the different activities on offer, visits to libraries, parks, museums and planned days out to zoos etc. I ensure that children have plenty of opportunities to choose there own resources as well as setting up activities that are geared towards the children’s current interests and meets there individual development goals.
I have worked as one to one support with autistic children aswel, I also have a cache level 2 teaching assistant qualification I have a full driving licence and my own car references available on request please contact me if I can be of any help to your family.

Our daughter absolutely loves Sarah, as do we. She's supported us and been so communicative and helpful, especially in helping us to feel ok about everything at the very beginning. She takes the kids on really fun trips and keeps us updated all day long with pics and observations. She's very invested in our daughter's development and is great at recommending things to help her e.g crawling/eating etc. It's very clear to us how genuine Sarah's love and support for our daughter really is. We feel so at ease with our daughter in her care; she can't wait to see her each morning and gets so excited.

Sarah has been looking after our son for two days a week since January 2021, when he was 13 months old. We feel so lucky to have found her. Sarah is a kind, intelligent person who is at once easy-going and extremely responsible. She has seemingly boundless energy and a brilliant sense of humour. We wave goodbye to our son in the mornings confident that he will be spending his day in a loving environment, where he will have lots of fun and have his mind stretched by the amazing activities and outings that Sarah organises. We can't imagine a better childminder.

Sarah has been taking care of our son since he was 2 months old. We can see how Noé is happy every morning to go with Sarah and we can definitely recommend Sarah as a great childminder. Noé is doing lots of activities and gets to see lots of other kids thanks to Sarah. One thing which is great is that Sarah's mother is also a childminder which makes it very convenient to find arrangement plans and also it allows Noé to meet with more kids. Overall we are very happy about Sarah, she has been a great support for us and a great childminder for Noé.

Sarah has been taking care of our son for the past 8 months. We began working with her when he was 8 months. She is very professional, always on time, and keeps us updated on his activities and development. She is really fun and creative with the activities she does with him and is clearly well versed in child development as she designs them specifically for his age and level.
Our son loves being with her and as an added bonus loves her kids. He is happy and we feel that he really feels loved and included as she is very warm and loving. It feels like a family away from family.
Having your baby spend time away from you is difficult and is a situation where trust is vital. We trust Sarah fully and are happy we have the opportunity to work with her

Sarah has been working with us since 2018 looking after my two kids. She took care of Emma (2 years old) in the afternoons and done school picks up for Theo since he was 6 years old. They absolutely adore her, she truly become like a member of our family.
Sarah has several strengths, she is reliable, trustworthy, punctual, communicative and loves to play with the kids
Her main talent is knowing how to motivate children, showing them new ways of learning and capturing their attention.
I recommended Sarah with full confidence. She is an outstanding nanny and person.
