About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder. I live in Wingham which is easily accessible from both Canterbury and Sandwich and the surrounding villages. I live with with my husband, 12 year old daughter and 7 month old son. I offer a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn through play based on the EYFS. We also attend toddler groups and a childminding group as well as taking trips to fun and exciting places such as Wingham wildlife park, Wildwood, local parks and playgrounds and many, many more.
I am also an accredited member of the NCMA which means that I am able to offer funded sessions for 3-5 year olds. In my last inspection I received an Ofsted "good" grade.
My Experience
I have worked with children for about 13 years and have had lots of experience of working with children of varying ages and needs.
I was the manager of a pre-school playgroup before moving to Wingham which is when I decided to become a childminder.
My Qualifications
I hold a wide range of qualifications including NVQ level 4 and level 3 in Early Years, Childcare and education, Paediatric First Aid, Health and Safety, child protection.
My Availability
I offer childcare to suit the needs of individual families Monday to Friday, so please feel free to contact me to discuss your reqiurements. I am available also at weekends.
