During lockdown I cared for a child aged 6 years and helped him with home schooling whilst the schools were closed. Since then I have worked as an emergency nanny for Bright Horizons providing temporary care for many different families with children aged 5months - 14years. Gabby worked with us for a little over a year and has been an absolutely wonderful person to have in the household. The children instantly warmed to Gabby and it was apparent right from the very beginning that we could put all our trust in her.
A day never went by without the children participating in various activities and exploring the local area with other nanny families. As such they became very social and outgoing, which is a credit to all that Gabby brought.
Any family that takes her on will be very lucky and won't be disappointed.

Gabby looked after our 3 children for 15 months and did some weekly housekeeping for us. She is reliable, energetic, patient, communicates really well and had a fantastic rapport with the children. Gabby is very organised and always planned fun activities, particularly during school holidays. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, or re-employ her should the need arise.

Gabby was with us part time, for 10 weeks and worked very well with our 4 children. She was able to build a bond with our youngest child who she spent the most time caring for, and our daughter always looked forward to her arrival. She was warm, friendly and professional and maintained a good working relationship with us as parents- always communicating any information, which was important.
She planned indoor and outdoor activities for the children, and cooked a variety of meals which they enjoyed.
Sadly she will be leaving us after a short time, as she will be travelling and working abroad. We do wish her well on her travels, and will be sorry to see her go. However, we have given her the option of occasional babysitting when she returns and takes on full time work (we only need part time childcare at the moment).

Overall
Having initially looked after our daughter from 6 months old at Headstart Nursery in Potters Bar, Gabby came to work for us as a full time nanny in Brookmans Park in 2017. She takes wonderful care of her who is now about to turn 6yrs old and my little boy Alberto who just turned 3yrs.
Both my husband and I work full time so we need someone who is completely trustworthy, calm, fun and who is happy using their initiative. Gabby totally ticks all these boxes. We desperately don’t want to lose her but with DS doing more hours at nursery it just doesn’t make sense having a full time nanny so we are hoping to go down to 2-3 full days a week (with increased hours in the holidays).
