My Experience

In my gap year, september 2017, i worked with two children aged 3 and 6. Responsibilities within this role included school runs, daytime activities such as gym tots, after school activities, dinner and bedtime routines.

Since june 2018-march 2020 i have been working with a family with a 7 year old girl, a 4 year old boy and 2 year old twins.

Since july 2019-january 2021 i have been with another family with a 7 month old, 3 and 5 year old. This included lots of home schooling.

January 2021-september 2021 This job involved looking after after a 9 month old and a 5 year old. This includes nap routines, baby led weaning and baby groups.
Unfortunatley the family relocated and so i began working at an infant school where i work as a one to one and therefore, I am gaining more SEN experience and phonics knowlegde.

In my year 10 work experience i worked at elson infant school in a year 2 classroom which invloved one to one help and leading activities.

April 2019-march 2020 i became a volunteer at southampton general hospital as a bedside buddy which involves cuddling the babies, encouraging tummy time and playing with the children. I had to have a DBS and complete safeguarding level 1 and 2.

For 3 years i have worked as a christmas temp at an estee lauder warehouse being a picker packer.
