About Us

We are a childcare provider, providing high quality childcare and have been established since 2005 with our first setting own by my mum. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with both the parents/carers and the children who attend our setting. This is our third setting.

Situated near buses, train stations, the children who attend Little Raye's Day Care will enjoy an environment of nearby, parks and majestic trees that provide year round interest for everyone attending the setting.

The building has been divided into four main rooms, which are used by the babies, toddlers, preschoolers and a maths and computer room, we also have another small room which will be used as a quiet room. We have a kitchen where all meals are freshly prepared and cooked each day, the children lavatory, a computer area for the children and an office.

All rooms have at least one level 3 and two level 2 staff, all DBS checked, safeguard trained and first aid trained. Garden space is large and beautiful we make good use of this.

We used Baby days app where you are able to see what your child has done, eaten, sleep times etc.
Although there are planned structured and adult-led activities, the time in the settings’ is spent learning through play. The social skills of sharing and turn taking flourishes here. The children have a home corner, a book corner, general play area, an art and craft area and also an area where children engage in activities, which promote craft, design and technology.
We also have sand/water area, which opens up numerous creative avenues where children develop a sense of imagination. Sand/water are two natural materials which most children used to extend their learning experiences.
We have a computer area where all the children can learn the basics of computer technology with the aid of software geared towards interactive exercises. Learning how to use the computer helps promote the understanding of technology as a valuable resource for all pursuits.
We have breakfast club where the children receive a nutrition breakfast before being taken to school and a hot nutrition meal after school.
We have a holiday club where the children have fun during the school holiday {art and craft, outing, baking etc.
