About Me
I am an early years teacher (3-7 specialist) but available for tutoring.
My Experience
I have worked with children in schools as a teaching assistant and a 1-1 support, as well as being a class teacher (Qualified Teaching Status) in nursery, reception year 1 and 2.
I have tutored 1-1 with both girls and boys from reception to year 4 in maths and literacy. I have also tutored maths with a boy with SEND (y6), as well as maths and phonics for a reception age boy.
My specialist area is working with 3-7-year-olds and have completed some speech and language training for early language development, along with a Level 2 in Childhood Illnesses and Level 2 Children and Young People's Mental Health.
I have worked in a school with children in years 3 - 6 on their literacy skills, including phonics and grammar. These children are mostly working below their age-related expectations. This is highly rewarding as they have all come such a long way in a short amount of time due to working with them individually.
My Qualifications
BA(Hons) Management, PGCE Early Years (3-7),
Qualified Teacher Status. ( I am currently in the process of submitting evidence for Certified Tutor Status.)
My Availability
I am taking a break from tutoring during the week or weekends. But potentially available during holidays.

- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
My fees are varied, it will depend on each individual circumstance as I do not feel this is a one size fits all role.
Blocks can be purchased at a discounted rate, individual hours are £30 per hour.

Miss Baker is a pleasure to employ and made lockdown 3 a bit more bearable.
My sons age 4 and 9 both engaged with her teaching style and had lots of fun whilst having lessons.

Absolutely amazing with my little boy Louie whilst I went to work from early hours in the morning till mid afternoon, very settling, approachable, calming & fun and exciting for me and my little boy to of been around! 😊 very happy with the time and support Frances has put into Louie, an absolute angel.
