Hi I'm Sophie! I have about five years experience looking after children, and I’m currently looking for part time childcare work.
My Experience
I regularly babysit children of all ages, and have worked part time as a childminder for a 10 year old, who I picked up from school, fed dinner, helped with her homework, and played with her until her mother returned from work, as well as a 2 year old, who I took on days out and played with. I also do ad hoc evening babysitting.
I have worked in a year 1 primary school class as an assistant weekly for a year, and led an after school club for year 5 students for a few months.
My Qualifications
I do not have any childcare qualifications as I studied a history degree, but I hope to go into teaching some time in the future. I am DBS checked.

Sophie looked after my 2 year old child. She was punctual and reliable. She was really good with my child. She was calm consistant and caring. She also engaged her in play with games, imaginative play and reading stories.

I found Sophie to be reliable, honest and caring with my 10 year old daughter. She helped me out for about a term and then had to move on due to mismatched schedules. I would have her looking after my daughter again without hesitation!
