Hi, my name is Amelia but most call me Mim / Mimie .
I have a love for travel, the outdoors and all things creative. I practice yoga on a regular basis though I do not profess to be very good at the discipline!
I strongly believe that my energy, love for the outdoors and creative pursuits along with my communication skills and caring nature are all attributes that will help a child develop into a well-rounded individual and achieve their full potential.

My Experience
After a successful spell in a variety of sales positions, I returned to the childcare profession just over four years ago. I believe that what sets me apart is the genuine passion I have for childcare - for me it is not just a job! Children under my care will be constantly learning, exploring and having fun, but most importantly safe.
I have a plethora of professional experience and qualifications relevant to childcare, having worked in a variety of roles within the profession from swimming school assistant - Nursery practitioner.
During my time at a Montessori Nursery Setting I obtained my Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development. For my other relevant qualifications, please see below.
Additionally, I worked for six months as a Live in Au pair in London and have previously held a part-time Nanny position working for a family with three children (Twin boys and a Girl)
For approximately 10 years I have worked as a Babysitter for a variety of families caring for children aged 3 months – 14 years.

Amelia was our babysitter for one or two nights a week for 6 months prior to her having her daughter. My boys were nearly 3 and nearly 1 when she started. She was absolutely amazing and her strong passion and skill with children was evident from the first meeting. My eldest loved it when she came over and could have a little play and a story from Amelia before bed. Amelia displayed a kind and gentle confidence with my boys which left me completely at ease and confident that they were in great hands whilst we were out so we could have a few evenings off with my husband without having to worry at all.

Amelia regularly looks after our little boy, now 4 years old. He absolutely loves her. They have great play times together - she is eminently sensible, caring and fun. I have no hesitation recommending her.
