I am a mother and grandmother. As a young mum I was always in full time employment. I worked in Administration then I moved to the Finance sector and eventually progressing into I.T. working as 1st and 2nd line of support for local Government.
As a young mum I had my children looked after by relatives, childminders, holiday clubs and they also attended a breakfast club and after school club. This gave me a lot of experience and knowledge from a parent's prospective and their concerns for their children.
My setting is in Ewell Village and within a spacious house with a large garden. We shall provide a homely environment where the children can relax, eat, take part in activities, read or play. The setting is only two minutes walk from Ewell West Station. Bourne Hall is virtually adjacent to my home where there is a secluded park with an opportunity to feed the ducks. Also, this complex has a library which your children will visit for Story time and Rhyme time and a museum etc.
My Experience
As a full time working mother I had to plan and organise everything as well as prioritise and deliver. Time management and meeting all my targets was vital, although we did forget the lunch boxes at home a few times. My experience taught me to pay attention to small details and the consequences of my actions and decisions. I learnt a lot and that you have to teach by example but also participate as part of their team/group.
Due to my background experience I fully understand the challenges and concerns that Parents have for their children and those that they have to face. This knowledge will ensure that I focus on the needs and concerns of both children and parents.
I was the chairperson of Roding Valley After School Club which gave me invaluable experience of what childen need to be provided with. I will focus on providing a safe, warm and homely environment where your children can play, learn and have fun while expanding to their full potential. There will be plenty of outdoor activities and fresh food provided to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
My Qualifications
EYS Trained by Ansa. Safeguarding Children trained. Peadiatric First Aid trained. DBS cleared.
My Availability
The setting will be fully available on Monday 15th July 2019. There will be two registered childminders, one male and one female, as well as an assistant at the setting which allows flexibility, as well as evenings and weekends. This includes a 'Breakfast Club' and 'After School Club'. The babysitting service we offer is only available in my home. There will also be a holiday club running through the school holidays and all meals shall be inclusive.
We provide pick-ups and drop-offs for three local schools: St Clements Catholic School, Ewell Castle School and Ewell Grove School. This service includes breakfast and tea( a good meal), Wraparound service (Breakfast Club, 7.30am-9,00am and After School Club, 3.00pm-6.30pm) discounted rate £25 daily. Holiday Club, 10 hour day, full week, 5 days at just £150/week and 2nd sibling at £100.

- Babysitting from £5.00 per hour
My fees shall be competive and definitely value for money. Holiday Club £150, 5 days.
Wraparound service for pick ups and drop offs is at a discount rate of £25 per day only
