About Me
Hello, im names Abby, a 33 year old support worker for vulnerable young children and families. I have been a support worker for 8 years, however was a nursery worker for 8 years previous to this.
I also work as regular bank staff at a Pre-School.
I have a daughter who is 11 years old and a little boy who is 1 so I understand how hard it can be leaving your own children in the care of someone else. I provide meet and greets before hand and lots of reassurance love, and fun while mummy and daddy are away.
I enjoy messy play and crafts, lots of outdoor play, trips to the park, feeding the ducks, reading stories, challenging and extending children's learning, exploring new places, swimming, boxing, and helping young children to learn new skills and reach their full potential.
I'm a very bubbly, caring, patient, calm person and love meeting new people. I like to be challenged and kept active.

My Experience
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare working with children from 3 months to 5 years in a nursery.
I then decided to take my career further and go solo working with vulnerable children and young adults as a support worker, some with special educational needs. I have been doing this for 8 years and absolutely love it. I've come across many challenging situations, helping numerous children to progress and met many lovely families.
I also work at a preschool with children ages 2-4
I have experience with babysitting, mothers help, support work and being in sole charge of children on a weekly flexible basis in clients houses or my own home.

EYFS trained
First aid trained
Food hygiene
Health and safety
Manual handling
I have done courses on Autism
Beginners makaton (sign langauge)
I also have my own DBS check and SEN experience

My Availability
I'm pretty flexible with availability for the right family. I would love a family who would occasionally let me bring my own children along. My daughter adores children and is very well behaved, helpful and socialble.
My son is very chilled and loves watching other children play.
