About Me
Hello, my name is Seetal and I moved in Watford 9 years ago.
In 2010 I graduated with a degree in English with TefL, going on to complete my 'Professional Graduate Certificate in Education' with QTS. In addition, I am first aid and defibrillator trained.
My Experience
I'm a teacher (with over 10 years experience in primary schools) and a private tutor. I possess excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and also have experience in early years.
I primarily tutor in Maths, English and Science, with excellent subject knowledge of the primary curriculum. I also offer phonics focused sessions, utilising government approved schemes such as Sounds-Write, and Read Write Inc.
For younger children, learning is tailored to meet the objectives within the EYFS curriculum.
During my sessions, I also offer homework help. This is an additional opportunity for students to reconsolidate learning, build confidence and ensure success.
Learning is fun and I strive to to build a love for learning in all of my students, using their interests to engage them.
