My Experience
My expertise is forever growing due to ongoing childcare commitments around Herefordshire.
I have 3 years experience within a school based nursery setting with a variety of ages, alongside this I was an afterschool club supervisor for children ranging from Reception to Year 6. In December 2021 I was Childcare Manager in France where I managed 4 members of staff, that I also ran a Crèche for children aged 3 month to 13 years. Followed by working back within a nursery for a couple months before finding my last job as a full time nanny.
I have my own business called Lissy’s Little Learners.

Melissa babysat my four year old for a few daytime hours while I attended a family funeral. She sent over all her documents and references and offered to come and meet my son the night before so that he could get used to the idea of spending time with her where she instantly put him at ease and formed a bond with him. She took him to soft play where he had a great time, she fed him and even got him to eat his peas! Afterwards he had a big smile on his face and couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he’d had with her chasing him around the soft play. I would highly recommend Melissa for nannying or babysitting: she has that ability to quickly connect with children and put them at ease and her professionalism and childcare skills meant I could trust her to take care of my son and focus on attending the funeral.

Melissa was able to babysit for me while I attended an appointment. She was punctual and made me feel very at ease. My son was happily playing when I left, and they were also happily playing when I returned. I don't even think he noticed I was away. I highly recommend her for babysitting or childcare needs.

Melissa was promt and professional from the start . Having taken on our request less than 12 hours before , she made the family feel confident and comfortable from the onset . Both the children loved her company and enjoyed having her around .
Pleasant and confident we would highly recommend Melissa to anyone and will definitely be requesting her services in the future .

I have used Mellisa for babysitting for a few years now, before she went away and since she has come back. At the first initial meeting with Melissa she made me and my husband feel confident leaving our two children with her. She has lots of experience within childcare and I felt assured that she would be able to handle any situation my children decide to throw at her! She has been fantastic with my children (3yrs old & 1yrs old when she first met them), she follows your routines that you ask her to do and is confident and polite in what she is doing. Melissa has babysat multiple times for us, usually within an evening. She has always turned up on time and I have even been able to book her at quite short notice sometimes. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone needing childcare.
