About Me
I am a 22-year-old woman who enjoys teaching with kids of different ages. I have a level 3 childcare certificate as well as expertise and credentials in special needs. I am a second-year student at Sheffield Hallam University, but I am also a level 3 certified childcare practitioner with a special needs profession who has worked as a special needs teaching assistant for the past year. My previous expertise also involves working with children ranging in age from new borns to 18 years. I am highly creative and have a lot of expertise with EYFS and developing activities that can both educate and entertain youngsters!
My Experience
I've worked as a full-time special needs teaching assistant. I worked with children ranging from mainstream to children with all types of special needs, including children with medical problems, severe autism, epilepsy, Down syndrome, and so on. I am Makaton-trained and am studying British sign language. I have medical training for both epilepsy and other medical issues. I am constantly eager to learn new skills and contribute to the continued development of children's requirements. This year, I need to renew my DBS and have first aid training, which also has to be refreshed, which I am pleased to do! However, switching COVID has proven difficult. More recently, I worked as a Nanny for families all throughout the UK, offering home support as well as family care.

Level 3 NVQ extended national diploma in childcare, learning and development
Makaton Trained
First Responsive first aid training for high needs to be renewed
Medical training through school in epilepsy, autism, safeguarding, asthma and administration of medication
DBS check
Early years nursery trained worker and early years educator degree
ABA therapy- RMT qualification
