I’m a honest, kind, caring person, who adores children and children are naturally drawn to me. I have a carefree, positive attitude, but also take my career seriously and adopt a professional approach. I am interested in and also passionate about children’s development and understand the importance of a carers role. I will encourage positive behaviour with the use of reward and praise and will gain the trust of the child/children through consistency in my approach. I have worked in the fitness industry in the past so diet and exercise is important to me and will be included in the care I provide, by encouraging the children to be active and enjoy the outdoors and also encourage a healthy diet. I can cook and prepare hot and cold meals. I will ensure the environment of the child/children is safe at all times and will never leave unattended as understand the safety is the utmost priority as a care provider.
My Experience
I completed a cache diploma in childminding 15 years ago. I then went on to work in primary schools as a teaching assistant for 3 years. I then decided to do a bachelors degree in families and childhood studies.
My Qualifications
GCSE-English C, math D, biology C, chemistry E, Cache diploma childcare. Level 4 degree in families and childcare studies. Level 2 in fitness and exercise.
