My Playroom is a home-based childminding service set within the new build Redrow development; The Nightingale Gardens estate in the lovely area of Humberstone, Leicester. It is a family handled business and is driven by Shazia Sellar who has an extreme passion of working with children. At My Playroom we ensure a warm and caring environment for your child to grow and flourish as individuals.
My Experience
I am an highly proficient Ofsted registered childminder and the manager of My Playroom Childminding. I have an substantial amount of experience and devotion working with children of all ages and abilities.

- Paediatric First Aid

- Following/ working alongside the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework/ guidelines
My Availability
I care for children all year around including summer and mid term holidays, Monday to Sunday, where I provide flexible hours of child care for you to choose from. Including morning, afternoon, full day, school day sessions or a combination. I am also available to do both school drop offs and pickups to Merrydale Junior School.

My little one first joined with my playroom in September 2020 when i returned to work after maternity leave. My LG felt at home as soon as she walked through the door. I was preparing myself to be called couple times a day for updating me on how unsettled she might have been. But she was perfectly happy from day one.
Shazia goes the extra mile when looking after all the children she cares for. If my daughter could talk im sure she would tell me lovely stories of what they all got up to and how much love aunty shazia always shows us.
I love the little peices of art work my LG has bought home so far and looking forward to all the creations left to come.
