About Us

Sunbeams Nursery and Pre-School offers spaces for 2 to 4 year olds as well as After School clubs and Holiday Clubs for children ranging from 2 to 14 years old.

Children can start the first term after they have turned 2 years old in our 'Piglets' room a safe, spacious and enticing room which offers activities, experiences and time for your child to explore and discover inside the setting and in our wonderful outdoor studio and garden.

Following on from our Piglets room, children who have turned 3 years before September move into the 'Tiggers' room where we offer dedicated spaces for co-operative and imaginative play, mark-making, construction, creative areas including roleplay, explorative messy play, small world, mathematical and literacy areas, as well as free-flow access to our wonderful outdoor studio and garden, where all areas of the curriculum are catered for in preparation for your child to start school.

Each 'Tigger' also has the opportunity to spend a whole day at our Forest School 'Muddy Munchkins' in Dudsbury for no extra charge, once a week.

'Buddies' our breakfast, after school and holiday clubs are popular offers flexibility for working parents for children 2 to 14 years.
A mixture of free time, pre-planned activities, indoor and outdoor fun, snacks.
Splitting them into 2 groups, under 5’s 'Tiglets' and over 5’s 'Buddies', ensures we provide a safe and fun environment for the children to enjoy age-appropriate fun and activities.
Our staff are very responsive to the needs and wishes of the children, which means we can be flexible in our approach to daily activities we provide.
