Hello, I'm a 34 year old female who can provide household help & support, as well as a childminding/nanny role. I can prepare & cook meals, support creative play & learning, tidy & organise, help with laundry, de-clutter, dog walk & generally help wherever I can.
I am calm by nature, intuitive & adaptable. Friends & those I work for know me to be patient, compassionate & emotionally literate.
My current availability is flexible - please ask.
My Experience
My longest experience with a family was working 3 days a week as a caregiver to a baby, who I looked after since birth, working part time for just under 2 years. Between sleeps I would prepare meals, tidy & make the beds etc & when awake I would care for his needs, take him out with me in a sling or for a stroll in his buggy, play with him & nurture his development.
His parents said very quickly that they felt instinctively comfortable having me in their home. I appreciate that anyone who I work for in a childcare role places a huge amount of trust in me, & I really respect and value this connection.
Aside from this, I am a trained Support Worker & qualified Secondary School Art Teacher. I'm resourceful, adaptable & sensitive to the needs of others - children of all ages, teenagers & adults.
Through previous job roles, I have experience of working with children with special educational needs & autism.
My Qualifications
I am on the DBS Updates Service & can provide details of eligibility to work with vulnerable individuals.
I am a registered Personal Assistant
Qualified Secondary School Art Teacher - PGCE with QTS
My Availability
From August, I am available for up to 20 hours work per week.
I can work flexibly to meet your days/times/schedule on a weekly basis.
Please note that I am looking for shifts of 3.5 hours at a time, as a baseline.
