I am a friendly, approachable Ofsted registered childminder based in Fleet. As a mum of one, I understand the difficulty of leaving your child in someone else’s hands. I strive to make this transition a little easier for you and your child by providing gentle, warm and caring but active environment for your child in my home.
I have a lot of experience with children and I am competent to take care of children of all ages.
I constantly strive to provide a wide range of opportunities and age appropriate activities for children to enable children develop their independence and help them learn through play in a caring, supportive and positive environment.
The importance of learning through play in positive nurturing environment has been well documented in today’s research in childcare and education as well as child psychology. The benefits have been highlighted to have a massive impact on children’s positive wellbeing not only in their childhood but also as future adults.
In my childminding work I concentrate on child’s uniqueness, ability and their interest and create wide range of indoor and outdoor child and adult led activities such as messy play, dance and music, sensory play, role play, arts and crafts and lots more. Being outdoors is crucial for the child’s development and I have implemented elements of Forest school and Montessori techniques in which I strive to support child’s learning in many different ways. I also support child’s positive psychological well-being by being a happy, calm and patient role model and I offer positive techniques to help children learn to recognise their feelings and emotions and work together through their struggles in respectful ways.
I believe that each child is unique and all children have the right to learn and grow at their own pace and time in a positive, nourishing environment. The children of all backgrounds should be given opportunities, treated with respect and learn from warm, positive role models.

Urszula is an amazing childminder and one I would highly recommend! The selection process was made simple and we were put at ease quickly and efficiently. The house was dedicated to the children and Urszula was always smiling, in control and a pleasure to be around. Plenty of fresh air and original play solutions for all weathers, my son loved all the activities and I enjoyed seeing the daily photo updates. My son's talking developed and Urszula provided interesting meals and soooo many toys.

Urszula is an outstanding childminder. She is patient, kind, caring and professional. She plans weekly for a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities for the children to enjoy. The menu was sent to us a week in advance and everything was cooked from scratch and always accommodated from my son's allergy. The children were taken out and about in the community on a regular basis and had ample opportunities for social interaction at various baby/ toddler play groups. She encouraged age-appropriate risk taking to develop his independence and to help him achieve developmental milestones. Through a daily diary as well as through face-to-face communication at pick-up and drop-off she he provided detailed feedback on his everyday activities and achievements. The regular photographs and videos she sent to us were the highlight of my day and ensured that my husband and I never missed any 'special moments.' Urszula has the patience of a saint and positive and calm manner when disciplining the children-- gently helping them to understand right from wrong. Above all, my son was so, so happy in her care. All his physical, social, emotional, intellectual and communication needs were met (and then some!) and he really flourished under her care. She really made all of us feel part of the family and we will miss her dearly when she leaves RP!
